This CD assumes no prior knowledge of Indonesian and provides not only practice but substantial explanation of the language.

Its twelve units range from the basics of the alphabet and simple greetings to quite advanced material. Most units target both an aspect of language and an aspect of everyday living, with useful information for travellers embedded in the language learning.

As well as the 12 graded units, it contains four crossword puzzles and a "hangman" word game. A talking dictionary can be set to either all words or those new to a unit.
